Steam items live in Valve's account system, so nothing here is onchain by default. The inventory is public, this page hashes a snapshot of it, and that hash is what gets timestamped on Robinhood Chain.

How the hash is made
- Read the public inventory from Steam and group it by item name.
- Serialize the list of item names and counts, plus the total and the account id, in a fixed order.
- Hash that string with SHA-256. Prices and timestamps are left out so the hash only changes when the holdings change.
- Write the hash to Robinhood Chain. Anyone can repeat steps one to three and compare.
