Mandate
Five rules. They hold for the whole season.
The five rules
The reserve holds the CS20 Case and nothing else.
The reserve buys on the Steam Community Market and stays inside Valve's limits.
Not for a milestone, not for a vote. Cases opened at events come from the separate sacrifice vault.
Season 1 only buys, so nothing leaves the vault.
The Steam account is public, and we hash every snapshot onchain.
What would break one
The rules are written so that breaking one would be obvious from the public inventory rather than a matter of opinion. Anyone can check them.
- A second item type appearing in the Steam account breaks rule 01.
- Cases arriving from a trade rather than a market purchase breaks rule 02.
- The opened counter moving off zero breaks rule 03.
- The reserve total falling between two snapshots breaks rule 04.
- The inventory going private breaks rule 05.
The unlock panel on the front page opens simulated cases at Steam's real odds, as many as you like. Nothing it hands out exists, nothing comes out of the vault, and the reserve counter on the same panel stays at zero no matter how many you open.
Seasons
Rule 04 is scoped to season 1 on purpose. A season is a stated period during which the reserve only accumulates. If a later season ever allows a sale, it will be announced before it starts, not after, and the mandate on this page will change first.
